Aboriginal Healing Garden

Two of our students learning about the healing elements of our garden
The Aboriginal Healing Garden at Mount Isa Central School has been transforming over the past two years.
There have been many different elements added to the garden over this time to honour reconciliation and cultural diversity, and provide a diverse learning space for our school community.
Recently, the Positive Learning Unit received a community grant to have etched stainless steel signs professionally made to label individual plants (tree names) and cultures in the healing garden. The teachers and students would like to thank Mount Isa Mines for the grant to purchase the signs.
How good do they look!
